Role Summary/Purpose

The individual will be a member of the Commercial DT Team for Renewables business in Bangalore, India.
He / She will be the main architect of the overall renewable ServiceMax platform (Grid and Hydro),
The ServiceMax/Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for the functional & technical consistency of the Renewable ServiceMax platform
Essential Responsibilities

o Define the solution architecture standard methodologies and build a long-term technical solution vision ensuring a long-term sustainability of the platform and the alignment with the business expectations
o Accountable that technical solution design meets platform architecture guidelines and standard methodologies. Provide feedback to architecture community on architecture and design.
o Accountable that the technical solution designs meet the functional requirements specified.
o Estimate the Workload of requirements specified and propose achievable release scope based on workload in collaboration with Product Owners
o Communicate regularly on development activities (Dev & Ops Team) with all project Partners (Business, Functional team, Program director, Support team leader) in Change Control Boards, Workshops, internal coordination with Functional team, etc.
o Anticipate any bottleneck in Development activity
o Accountable that deliverables meet requirements w.r.t. reliability, availability, performance, and security and compliance.
o Approves the content of the release prior to UAT and manages interrelation aspects with other applications.
o Effective Management of Vendors or IT partner team.
o In an agile mode, run with Dev & Ops teams support regularly demos to involve business in validation cycle
o Provide mentorship to development team in performing configuration management, Design & build phase.
o Supports the Delivery in DevOps. Approve the Quick-Hits for Support team.
o Coaches technical leads and developers.
o Be dedicatedly informed with new ServiceMax versions and do recommendation to business partner on version upgrade.
o Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence.
o Responsible for Software Quality, Compliance and Regulatory aspects of the solution.

Desired Characteristics

• Knowledge on Mobility
• Problem solving, prioritization, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to make recommendations to all levels of the organization
• Experience in multiple CRM platforms
• Should be salesforce certified - architect or cloud consultant
