Role Summary/Purpose

The CPQ Platform Architect will own and manage the technical design for the GE POWER Oracle CPQ. This role will be responsible for working closely with the DT and functional matrixed teams to provide technical solutions that meet the needs of the business while minimizing IT risk.
Essential Responsibilities

·  The position will demonstrate leadership in working closely with the P&L leaders, product managers, and functional teams to define requirements and work closely with the development team to deliver functionality for the business using Agile framework The CPQ Platform Architect will:

·  Support the CPQ initiatives in an agile development environment working closely with key players from business/functional, technical product owners, and CPQ horizontal
·  Work closely with Commercial Technical leadership and CPQ horizontal to develop the GE wide architecture framework that is scalable for the various P&Ls
·  Work with the project team and vendors to create, complete, and achieve sign-off on the design. Ensure that design is efficient and scalable
·  Provide technical expertise with Oracle CPQ config, commerce and integration modules
·  Administer migration activities and integration updates within SFDC & Oracle CPQ
·  Conduct successful unit testing on all development and configuration items associated to the integrations
·  Coordinate configuration and integration activities across program, System Administrators, and development teams
·  Provide technical governance to project teams to ensure proper design standards, change management, planning and documentation
·  Provide technical leadership & oversight in the planning, evaluation, design, development, implementation, operation & control for Oracle CPQ implementations
·  Support the cross business requirements gathering and reusable design methodology
·  Develop peer, cross-functional & cross-GE business relationships to maximize best practice sharing & team effectiveness to deliver & support quality initiatives
·  Manage daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as-requested by customer
·  Identify and analyze project and technical risks & impacts
·  Define alternatives & prioritization to remove roadblocks
·  Apply project management tools & Quality methodologies
·  Follow the PMM (project management methodology) tollgate process
·  Ensure completion of tasks, milestones and components including but not limited to: design specifications, development, configurations, quality assurance, implementations and tollgate reviews
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering Minimum of 2 years experience in the following:

·  Knowledge of CPQ Tools and Processes
·  At least 2 full lifecycle implemations with CPQ tools as a Technical Architect or Team Lead
·  IT experience supporting the Commercial processes
