Role Summary/Purpose

A Technical Project Manager is responsible for wing-to-wing execution of software focused projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and external customers. They work hand in hand with the technical, commercial and managerial team to plan and execute each program.
Essential Responsibilities

The Sr. Technical Project Manager collaborates at a strategic level with the Product Owner and Product Line Managers to help define the scope for each program. They are champions of the development processes and act as the voice of the program to key business stakeholders.

In the role of Sr. Technical Project Manager, you will:

·  Drive on time, on budget and on quality execution of program(s), holding teams accountable to their deliverables

·  Interact with Product Managers to help define scope for programs and develop program roadmap

·  Proactively identify, manage, and communicate risks

·  Create, maintain and track budget for programs and work with operations group to help create overall operations plan

·  Monitor progress and update key stakeholders with status of program(s)

·  Work with Functional Managers to help staff the programs for success

·  Collaborate with cross functional team to ensure all aspects of program are aligned for target milestones and release dates

·  Collaborate with operations group to improve development processes and ensure development teams are aligning to existing development process

·  Engage frequently with development teams, Technical Product Managers and Scrum Masters, to identify key impediments or risk areas for teams

·  Influence decision making and problem solving across cross functional and development teams
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's Degree in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from an accredited college or university

·  Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an Agile development environment

·  Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role on an agile scrum team such as Project Manager, Scrum Master, Team lead, Technical Lead, or Technical Product Manager

·  Must be willing to work out of an office located in Minden, NV

·  Flexible, continuous learner, willing to share knowledge and experience

·  Experience in using TFS Suite, Jama, Rally or similar tools

·  Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, agile practices like Kanban, Scrum and SAFe

·  Experience working with global teams

·  Familiarity with Project Management methodologies
