Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for installation, architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of various components of multi-tier applications in an enterprise environment. S/he provides support for escalated application issues, including diagnosis and resolution of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity ensuring the root cause of the problem is addressed.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Area of expertise is SAP ECC6 MM and WM modules, with good understanding of Material management, Purchasing, Inventory processes. 
·  Provide specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in solutions. 
·  Assist with businesses to understand user requirements, develop process modelling. 
·  Contribute to design discussions. Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.  
·  Write functional specifications in detail, understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between processes, functional modules. 
·  Support project implementations, perform configuration, testing, fixing, training, change requests, enhancements, new functionality implementation or reengineering as needed. 
·  Cooperate with support team, actively provide functional, technical, and process knowledge for rapid issue resolution. 
·  Ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members across functions and sites.  
·  Promote transparency by proactively sharing design choices with appropriate audiences, with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.  
·  Demonstrate expert understanding of functional and nonfunctional requirements and their priority within the backlog.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Professional degree coupled with solid Technology and Business Process experience 
·  Exposure to Industrial businesses is a big plus. 
·  Experience contributing to a full-lifecycle project (either core model definition or ERP worldwide roll-outs) 
·  Experience working with off-shore team (development or application support) 
·  Flexibility to travel when required 
·  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

·  Adept at interacting in both business and IT focused discussions 
·  Awareness of ITIL or similar IT processes 
·  Excellent team player, ability to work effectively with virtual and global cross functional teams 
·  Highly self-motivated, able to work independently 
·  Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (other languages are a plus) 
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
