Role Summary/Purpose

The Solutions Architect is responsible for program management and implementation of our Women’s Healthcare Portfolio (Mammography and ABUS) and Clinical IT Solutions within the HCS portfolio. Responsible for smooth implementation – including workflow, on time apps delivery and post-sale customer support. Provides pre-sale customer support and supports the product team with CSOs, education events and conferences.

Essential Responsibilities

·  Act as Solutions Architect HCS for assigned products nationally.

·  Take a consultative approach to develop, present and explain the value and vision of proposed Healthcare business solutions to customers and GE business teams

·  Function as the Subject Matter Expert on how our systems connect and the workflow required to optimize the customer experience

·  Provide product and sales support for strategic opportunities to Account Executives, Product Sales Specialists, Product Sales Managers and other direct and indirect sales/service.

·  Working with project management – support the implementation for the portfolio

·  Support Clinical Applications team as required, including pre and post-sale customer training, as well as general liaison and support of the Clinical Applications Support team

·  Align with the US organization to ensure the Canadian organization has up to date information and tools in order to be effective

·  Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

·  Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
Domains of expertise will include PACS, Healthcare IT, archiving solutions and image, data and report workstations.
The successful applicant will need to master the clinical space, product architectures and design and critical to quality elements.
Typical areas of intervention are going to be revolving around:

·  Analyzing customers’ preferences and customizing their IT architecture

·  Focal point between GEHC, Hospital customers and 3rd party IT/PACS providers

·  Create a strong link between Sales and Service organization and drive execution

·  Expert troubleshooting in image/data storage, transfer and review related customers’ issues

·  Increase regional workflow knowledge by providing regular training and workshops

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Clinical or hospital based IT professional

·  Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in STEM

·  Must be able to cultivate and leverage Clinical/Technical relationships externally at all levels.

·  The ideal candidate has previous experience within the hospital organization and understands clinical workflow

·  Strong critical thinking capabilities

·  Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills

·  Ability to demonstrate discipline in an unstructured work environment.

·  Strong customer service skills; must act as the “voice-of-customer” to GE

·  Willingness to travel 50% nationally depending on geography and business need.

Desired Characteristics

·  Previous Healthcare high-end capital equipment pre sales experience or customer facing roles in other capacities.

·  5+ years of experience in Healthcare IT imaging sales, service support or applications

·  Demonstrated ability to work independently.

·  Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization.

·  Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process.

·  Excellent relationship management, strong team building, and the ability to work across units and functions within complex organizations

·  Strong communication and clear-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages.

·  Knowledge Healthcare market

·  Bilingual (English/French)
