Role Summary/Purpose

This role will work as a Lead Program Integrator cross functionally with product management, technical / design leaders, architects, and a team of software and applications engineers located globally to create software development and release strategy. Act as the Agile Program Manager and Agile coach for the team and be responsible for facilitating Scaled Agile ceremonies related to software release management and will represent the global software team in the program core team.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Release Train Engineer (Agile Program Manager) responsibilities in Scaled Agile Framework based software development and ensure Agile ceremonies are followed

·  Facilitates release planning / program increment readiness and planning events.

·  Works with product management, product owners, architects and business owners to help assure strategy and execution alignment.

·  Ensure program quality practices with the teams and bring visibility into key quality metrics

·  Facilitates scrum of scrums to assist in program execution and program increment tracking.

·  Resolve and/or escalates impediments. Manage risks and dependencies.

·  Act as an Agile Coach to the program core team and encourage team collaboration

·  Drives continuous improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops.

·  Ensuring that the product development process abides to the Engineering Quality Procedures, Phased Review Discipline (PRD) and regulatory needs of the applicable markets.

·  Ensure continuous integration of software through ensuring builds schedules and continuous integration tasks are completed and deployed successfully.

·  Coordinate Software release activities including hands-on product builds and release packaging

·  Develop and execute software configuration management strategy.

Quality Specific Goals:

·  Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type / position

·  Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

·  Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

·  Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Control FDRs and NPI program milestones

·  Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field or Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of technical experience in the software development or equivalent (defined as High School Diploma/GED and 8 years progressive experience as an engineer or scientist within the appropriate field of study)

·  5 years’ experience developing software for complex systems or computerized products

·  Minimum 3 years managing software development projects that include planning, execution tracking, risk management, and team improvement activities.

·  Working experience in C/C++ and Java programming, scripting (Python/Perl/Shell) in a Linux / UNIX environment.

·  Experience in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle in an industry environment.
Desired Characteristics

·  Masters Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer or Bio Medical)

·  Agile software development experience as a scrum master and / or release train engineer.

·  Experience in leading projects with global teams using Agile development methodology

·  Demonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle

·  Experience with Clearcase or Perforce configuration management

·  Experience with Continuous integration experience with Electric Commander or Jenkins.

·  Demonstrated experience with medical device product software development and design history file.

·  Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues

·  Demonstrated skills in proactively identifying, facilitating and driving closure of a product/program

·  Knowledge of GE Healthcare engineering tools and processes (QMS, ePDM)

·  Demonstrated ability to build lasting cross-functional relationships, including strong influential and
communication skills

·  Attention to detail and ability work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments
