Role Summary/Purpose

As a Software Quality Test Engineer in GE Healthcare Life Sciences, you will be responsible to assure quality of Life Sciences systems and equipment from a cybersecurity perspective.
Essential Responsibilities

GE Healthcare have devised a Design Engineering Privacy and Security Procedure to ensure compliance to the special cybersecurity needs of the Healthcare industry across the continuum of the Secure Development Life cycle.

In close collaboration with the Cybersecurity Engineers, you will be responsible to:

·  Serve as the Software Quality Test Engineer for a family of Life Sciences products

·  Collaborate with product development teams to develop and execute appropriate abbreviated test suites

·  Adhere to established principles of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)…understand requirements, create verification plan, procedure and maintain traceability

·  Effectively apply various testing types and methodologies during STLC

·  Design and develop automated test suites using standard tools

·  Produce verification artifacts; follow good documentation practices to author, disseminate and archive the same
Qualifications/Requirements

The ideal applicant will have 3-5 years of experience undertaking SW quality assurance roles.

·  B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science backgrounds
• Hands on experience in Software Testing Life Cycle.
·  Hands on experience with manual and test automation tools; for example: HP QTP, VS Coded UI, Cucumber, Selenium, etc.

·  Hands on experience with test frameworks; Data-driver testing, modularity driven testing, keyword-driver testing, hybrid testing, model-based testing, etc.,
·  Proven expertise across a range of operating systems and environments, such as MS Windows, Linux, Embedded OS
Desired Characteristics

Candidates with experience on ensuring quality of Life sciences systems and knowledge on the Secure Development Life cycle will be preferred, especially in environments such as DeltaV/Wonderware
