Role Summary/Purpose

Join a high-performing team that is creating the Brilliant factory of the future to make the world’sfastest CT detector components. Develop and integrate software to deliver data and enable advanced analytics to achieve early defect detection and proactive response, dramatically improving product quality and reducing cost.
Essential Responsibilities

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

·  Developing software tools for in-process data monitoring for critical CT-detector components & subsystems.

·  Creating and validating GUI’s for operator input (Python/Java/Web).

·  Developing server-side applications to aggregate raw data into more accessible tables

·  Managing and optimizing a Percona cluster of local database servers

·  Coordinating data transfer to local Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

·  Identifying and developing new solutions for digitizing key business processes.

·  Executing rigorous testing and qualification for the software tools to release into a manufacturing environment.

·  Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality
Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job

·  Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

·  Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as
required

·  Knowledge and understanding of document control, revision control, and software verification
and validation testing
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field or Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of technical experience in software development

·  Proficiency developing software in Java or Python for deployment on both Windows and Linux
Desired Characteristics

·  Work experience developing software in Java or Python for deployment on both Windows and Linux platforms

·  Demonstrated expertise with SQL queries and database table design

·  Experience applying data analytics and machine learning techniques to large datasets

·  Familiarity with website development using Node.js

·  Ability to integrate into hardware systems through Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) via OPC server.

·  Experience with automation through software control of collaborative (UR) robots.

·  Lean 6-sigma: GB, DFSS BB/MBB certified.
