Role Summary/Purpose

Our interns will have the opportunity to join our software development team, learn and help bring electricity to the world.
Essential Responsibilities

Our site is predominantly software development of our Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). This product essentially ‘keeps the lights on’ by allowing our customers to understand the state of the electricity distribution network in real-time and allowing to make decisions to restore customers off supply as quickly as possible. This is particularly important for the likes of hospitals and emergency services or people with special needs (e.g. dialysis, etc.). ADMS is used by most of the UK distribution companies (like UKPN, SSE or Scottish Power) and others around the world to manager their electricity networks.

·  Involvement in Software Development of our ADMS products

·  This may involve developing code and testing products

·  Working on customer and internal projects to enhance our products or incorporating features that will enrich the product effectivity and efficiency

·  Assisting with tools to improve deployment of the product to improve customer experience

·  Be exposed to as much programming as you’d like
Qualifications/Requirements

Software Development, Software Engineering, Power Analysis with Software development skills
