Role Summary/Purpose
Supporting Service Agreements are Contractual Agreements (for a minimum period of two years)
designed to provide proactive care for our customers’ production assets and the condition
monitoring systems supplied by GE. These agreements vary greatly in size and scope and the
Site Lead may be responsible for multiple agreements, visiting each site periodically and
accessing their systems remotely, or may be embedded in the customers’ organization at one or
more sites.
Essential Responsibilities
The core task of the Site Service Agreement Lead is to execute the scope of the agreement, profitably, safely, with integrity and to the customers’ satisfaction to ensure agreement renewal and evolution.
Regardless of the specific deliverables the Site Lead will focus on helping the customer improve
the reliability and performance of his operation (production assets) therefore a strong quality
(repeatable lean process), reliability and continuous improvement mindset is important.
The Site Lead is expected to develop and communicate customer value stories (with customer
approval) that will promote learning within the Bently Nevada business and provide marketing
material to promote the service offering.
Work closely with Sales/FAE/SSA Manager to bring new opportunities including
supporting SSA proposal generation, understanding of contractual agreement T&C and risk management and to keep up to date on new applications and support trial installations where deemed appropriate by the respective Product Line Manager.
Document the activities executed using the tools built into the SSA Web
Portal, the standard reporting tools or any customized tools agreed per specific contract
requirements. Maintenance of The SSA Web Portal for accurate reflect deliverable scope and value of SSA outcome assessment.
Qualifications/Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or have worked in a similar role for at least 5 years.
Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience executing condition monitoring programs or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field control and instrumentation including Bently Nevada monitoring and software products.
Possess technical understanding of a broad range of condition monitoring techniques such as vibration, thermodynamic performance, lube oil analysis, thermography.
Understand customer’s business, how the customer operates profitably, their safety,
environmental and other regulatory challenges.
Understand the key contractual terms and conditions.
Willingness and ability to travel 60% of the time (Onshore/Offshore/Remote locations)
Software oriented with the ability to quickly learn new technologies
Good interpersonal management skills, both within the project team and upwards to the business.
