Role Summary/Purpose

The Services Data Analytics engineer will be responsible for providing reliability inputs to the business in support of the Wind Full Service Agreement (FSA) portfolio and supporting productivity efforts for the growing Wind installed base.
Essential Responsibilities

As a Services Data Analytics Engineer, you will:

·  Use tools, process and practices to drive measurable improvement in productivity, quality and accuracy of the FSA model and work with the productivity team to ensure implementation.

·  Create services backlog projections and support risk mitigations

·  Support Services FSA Business team with reliability models and predictive analytics

·  Use the turbine operation and maintenance data to develop predictive analytics that improve the profitability of FSA contracts

·  Create, review and issue technical documentation related to the models

·  Work closely with subsystem managers and COE’s to understand trends and drive reliability improvements

·  Understand Wind Turbine operation and components within assigned subsystem(s) and apply that knowledge to substantiate modeled results

·  Effectively communicate technical recommendations in formal review meetings

·  Support NPI and design for reliability through validation of physics-based models, DFR analysis / availability simulations, and PAC case analytics
Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, statistics, mathematics Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering from an accredited college or university

·  Minimum of 5 years experience in the wind industry

·  At least 2 years of experience as a reliability engineer

Eligibility Requirements:

·  Legal authorization to work in the US is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
Desired Characteristics

·  Knowledge of Wind technology and key components

·  Experience using Reliasoft, JMP and or SAS modeling software

·  Working knowledge of R or Python programming languages

·  Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives

·  Proven strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization

·  Proven success embracing and leading change initiatives

·  Strong Project Management experience

·  Strong Oral and written communication skills
