Role Summary/Purpose

The On Shore Service Parts Leader South Cone is responsible for leading the Service Parts operations across different platforms and streams for South Cone region. The scope includes overseeing fulfillment, planning, and warehousing operations related to spare parts and main components ordered by GE's Customers located in the South Cone region.
Essential Responsibilities

• Work together with the Brazilian and Global planning & fulfillment teams, as well as Sourcing and Logistics in order to meet South Cone customer demands related to Wind service spare parts.
• Assure appropriate support and process conformance for all areas related to parts fulfillment, such as quotations, order management, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), Non-conformance Reports (NCRs), parts identification, orders' follow up, and on-time delivery performance related to all parts streams.
• Give adequate support to customers and site managers on service parts requirements related to parts identification, orders' status, orders' promise date, and customer's performance.
• Work in partnership with Logistics, Sourcing, and GE European teams in order to assure customs clearance performance to all parts in the South Cone countries to meet local customers orders.
• Work closely with the Brazilian Parts Fulfillment, Field Service, Sourcing, Brazilian Planning, Parts Activation, and Engineering teams to identify and to assign new GE part numbers as needed;
• Work with Global Planning & Inventory team to ensure optimal inventory is planned and maintained to support Services External Sales, Internal Services, Warranty & FSA Streams Fulfillment for the South Cone region.
• Lead the initiative of Service Parts Demand forecasting for South Cone fleet, working closely with site managers, customers, Sales team, Service functions, and Engineering team by analyzing historical consumption, identifying fleet failure trends, identifying future consumption trends, and potential product issues.
• Coordinate with Brazilian and Global Planning teams a demand forecasting process to ensure that the central warehouse carries the proper level of inventory to fulfill South Cone customer part needs.
• Work with Sourcing team to develop local suppliers in the South Region to meet local demand.
• Work with Global Planning Configuration team member and regional team members to ensure critical parts are identified and planned for the WTG fleet in the South Cone.
• Work closely with Service Parts Regional Manager to drive customer service parts growth strategy and initiatives for the South Cone region to ensure successful parts fulfilment & productivity for Service and our Customers.
• Build cross-functional relationships aiming excellence in customer service.
• Partner with all other functions and sources of information across organization, to proactively anticipate South Cone customer’s needs or operational strategies to meet customer contractual demands while safeguarding revenue and margin.
• Work with sourcing organization to optimize parts buying strategies to South Cone fleet.
• Drive process simplification, continuous improvement, routine management related to Parts Fulfillment, Parts Planning, and Parts warehousing in order to support process compliance, customer satisfaction, and efficiency on Service Parts performance in the de South Cone Region.
• Implement metrics and systems improvement, enabling productivity and efficiency growth y/y
• Support annual Op plan analysis and construction and ongoing inventory financial rhythms (quarterly, SII, OP Plan, and Blue Print).
• Act as Service Parts focal point for all requirements, initiatives, and projects related to South Cone region, including ERP projects within the region.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Operations)
• +3 years experience in materials management, fulfillment, operations, inventory control in Field Services businesses.
• Strong technical and functional experience with spare parts and services processes
• High level skills in all Microsoft Office tools required (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook...) & Oracle and SAP ERP processes
• Demonstrate ability to work standalone and influence all stakeholders to assure that the Service Parts commitment for South Cone will be granted.
• Proactive and takes ownership; ability to interface with all functions and all levels of management
• Ability to speak English and Spanish fluently
