Role Summary/Purpose

Come and join our dedicated Hardware Quotation Support team as a sales Support Engineer and contribute with your experience to help us build the global bio-pharma manufacturing equipment business of the next generation.
Essential Responsibilities

HQS- Hardware Quotation Support team is responsible for supporting commercial organization with commercial and technical proposals. In this role you will be responsible for generating quotations for Customized Bioprocess Solutions (CBS) and manage your own quote portfolio.

You will collaborate with global commercial teams to design solutions that meet customer URS and expectations. Quotations include technical documentation, price and delivery time and can have a value between hundred thousand to several million US dollars. You will provide technical and application expertise to win the hardware deals, including customer visits.

·  Receive, analyze and prioritize Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to ensure appropriate, timely responses that satisfy customer expectations and meet user requirement specifications (URS)
·  Interface with sales, design teams, project management and other key personnel to gather quotation information and evaluate technical feasibility for customization and/or solution
·  Interpret customer specifications, drawings and application and document any deviation from URS
·  Produce both commercial and technical proposals that maximize profitability and add value for the customer
·  Maintain adherence to commercial, quality and regulatory processes and systems
·  Work tightly with Project Office to ensure smooth handover to production for awarded customer orders
·  Provide technical and product expertise of Bioprocess hardware and automation solutions during pre-sales and quotation phase
·  Work with colleagues across functions & modalities to share best practices
·  Contribute to Hardware Quotation Support work in developing new processes for an efficient quotation process
·  Contribute to introduction of new technologies and automation solutions
·  Initiate new external networks needed for making competitive quotes, such as third-party vendors, technology providers etc.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Master’s in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent)
·  Strong industry experience
·  Proven experience estimating labor hours, specifying material and components from P&ID's, knowledge of fabrications methods and practices
·  Demonstrated ability to understand and present complex material in understandable terms 
·  Good coordinator with capability to handle many parallel activities
·  Project management skills and works well in a team-oriented environment
·  Problem solving ability
·  Self-motivated and Customer focused
·  Demonstrated ability to work in a rapidly changing climate and reacts well to change
·  Willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve
·  Proficiency in English
·  EU work permit
Desired Characteristics

·  Experience from large Biopharma projects, working at Engineering Company or as customer in commercial manufacturing
·  Product knowledge and technical expertise within the Bioprocess equipment area
·  Experience with computer systems validation practices (GAMP)
·  Experience with automation systems, process control systems and data historians
·  Experience with Unicorn control system and/or distributed control systems such as Emerson DeltaV are highly valued
·  Experience with master batch records, master data and system configuration
·  Experience working with Salesforce.com
