Role Summary/Purpose

The Sales Support Analyst will work closely with Sales, Commercial Operations, Parts Fulfillment, Engineers, Contract Managers, Outage Managers, Leadership and other key staff to generate compliant and winning proposals.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Typical duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
·  Take lead across internal teams in developing overall bid strategy and completing the proposal
Ensure R (Risk review)
·  Process is followed for each opportunity according to Policy 5.0
·  Review and analyze customer requirements and specifications
·  Interface with the Region Sales teams to develop commercial strategies and solutions that will meet customer requirements as well as meet or exceed business goals
·  Work side by side with Parts Fulfillment, application engineers and Sales to generate the best competitive Commercial and Technical solution and satisfy customer requirements
·  Generate commercial proposals for generation units parts using the best competitive solution composed of GE and/or third party suites of products in efficient and timely manner as demanded by the request for quotation deadline 
·  Attend to internal meetings to discuss commercial issues related to proposals along with the business’ stakeholders
·  Responsible for project tracking, regional pipeline review and using appropriate business tools e.g. SFDC, workflows, Pricing Analytics, etc.
·  Generate cost sheets to report the sell price, profit and all costs to the business leadership
·  Execute historical pricing analysis and work with Sales to determine a winning pricing strategy
Draft proposals according to GEs terms and conditions or Master Agreement in place
Coordinate customer expectations, delivery terms and lead time with Sales and execution teams
·  Update proposal tracking in SFDC tool, updating in a timely manner the proposal dates, amounts and activity
·  Work side by side with Sales to ensure proposal delivery, tracking and follow up
·  Properly hand over won deals to the execution teams and provide assistance to ensure customer order is in place
·  Help to enhancement, maintenance and implementation of the assorted tools used by the Proposals Team
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Ability to interpret customer commercial specification and requirements
·  Ability to translate customer’s needs into a commercial strategy
·  Ability to walk through multiple levels of the organization to ensure customer’s needs are reflected in a commercial proposal
·  Proactivity to take ownership of processes inside or outside commercial scope
·  Strong influencing skills to push stakeholders into working together to deliver proposals
·  Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask while coordinating multiple priorities
·  Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills
·  Working knowledge of MS Office based products
·  Strong ability in Excel and VBA programming
·  Proficient in Spanish & English
