Role Summary/Purpose

GE Healthcare Canada runs a 2 year training program for College /University graduates interested in a career in healthcare services. The Canada Services Apprentice Program (CSAP) is unique to GE Healthcare where you develop the essential skills required for a successful career in Healthcare. 
Essential Responsibilities

As an Service Apprentice (SA) you will learn to maintain a complete range of remote medical devices that include cloud-based asset management systems, life support devices and imaging platforms as well as integrated hospital network connectivity. 

Our program is aimed at providing the technical and soft skills training required to become a successful remote technical leader. The program includes a variety of soft skills training such as communication skills, negotiation skills, etc., as well as specific technical training at our institute in the USA and Europe. (Average time on training 5-10 weeks)

We are looking for individuals who will be based out of Mississauga, Ontario for approximately 1.5 years for extensive training. 

Our ideal candidate has successfully completed a diploma or degree in Computer Systems Technology and carries the following working knowledge:

·  Windows Operating systems 
·  Routing & Switching: Network Design/Configuration
·  Networking
Qualifications/Requirements

·  University or College graduate within the past 2 years. 
·  Hardware server experience
·  Windows server 2003, 2008, XP, Windows 7
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
·  Valid Canadian Driver's License
·  Ability to travel approx 20% across Canada
