Role Summary/Purpose

Do you want to be our Quality & Lean Engineer in Test and Validation Center and lead the implementation of a sustainable lean operation system?
Essential Responsibilities

LM Wind Power is growing and therefore we are strengthening our team in Test & Validation, Manufacturing and Development with a passionate Quality & Lean engineer. 

The Test & Validation Center Manufacturing & Development ensures the integrity of products, materials, methods and processes aiming at doing things right with validation and verification as basis for the development of new and existing technologies. 

As our Quality & Lean engineer, you will support develop, maintain & manage accreditation (according to ISO 19001), ensure zero defects supply to customers, establish Quality assurance plans and Quality control, facilitate development and implementation of improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodology and coach team members in the use of Six Sigma tools as our internal expert. 

You will get to work in an environment of innovation and knowledge sharing between approximately 80 engineers and highly skilled technicians in our Test and Validation Center in Denmark, India, UK & USA. You will be based in our Lunderskov Office. 

The role in more detail: 

·  Our Quality & Lean engineer will lead, teach and coach employees in our lean processes. 
·  You will facilitate the development of and maintain the lean implementation plan. 
·  You will drive lean training and implement a lean toolkit using PDCA, value stream mapping, quick changeovers, Kaizen, problem solving, 5S etc.  Furthermore, you will lead our continuous improvement events resulting in employee skills, knowledge development and KPI performance improvements.

You will quickly get a big network as you will be in daily contact with a large part of the organization in our Test & Validation Center.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  We expect that our Quality & lean engineer has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, operations or manufacturing (or equivalent knowledge/experience)
·  Preferably, you are a certified Lean Implementer and have a Six Sigma green belt
·  You have hands-on experience using modern operational excellence and continuous improvement methods (such as Lean, TPM, 6 Sigma, TQM)
·  Preferably, you have experience from the composites industry
·  You have significant experience facilitating lean transformations in industrial manufacturing
