Role Summary/Purpose

The LATAM Project Management Director within Industrial Solutions plays an essential role in the growth of the business by providing a cohesive project management strategy to maximize project profitability and instill a relentless pursuit of process excellence to maximize the customer experience. Focus is in Industrial, EPC, & Commercial construction project execution.

Essential Responsibilities

The main responsibilities will be:

·  Leading the Industrial Solutions Project Managers in LATAM region.  
·  These project managers are responsible for delivering projects regionally for both local and cross pole projects, with focus in the LATAM. 
·  Responsibility for overall project execution, project profitability, and resourcing strategies during quotation to successful execute the project portfolio. 
·  Leading execution strategies and process excellence for all projects to ensure compliance to project contractual obligations' - i.e. full compliance with contract scope of supply and agreed technical requirements, timely delivery and quality as well as achievement of profitability expectations. 
·  Playing a proactive role in preventing problems during the project life cycle by working cross functionally to solve systemic issues and develop better ways of doing business to prevent margin erosion and increase customer satisfaction. 
·  Developing metrics and measurement systems around project loading, project profitability, and the customer experience. 
·  Developing enduring faithful customer relationships. 
·  Ensuring/improving profitability and timely execution of the overall Project Portfolio. 
·  Managing contractual risk across and balancing the needs of the customer with the needs of the company. 
·  Driving effective communication across the regions and business functions. 
·  Play a key role in maintaining a strong backlog for LATAM projects that is trustworthy for planning plant capacity. 
·  Leading Project Managers in end of quarter, end of year activities to deliver business results. 
·  Leading cross-functional development teams to create, develop and maintain processes and procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  BS Degree in engineering with minimum of 10 years in an industrial sector.
·  Fluent in English.  
·  At least 5 years relevant experience with Project Management. 
·  At least 5 years of experience in a customer facing commercial role. 
·  Additional 3 years of experience managing a team. 
·  Exhibits a High level of Emotional Intelligence in the presence of challenging situations. 
·  Good knowledge of Power Equipment products, processes, and solutions.
