Role Summary/Purpose

We are looking for Project Engineer (SCADA) to join our FACTS Control SW team, based in Tampere, Finland. In this position, you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and indirectly to Project Managers.
Essential Responsibilities

As an automation focused project engineer, you will be responsible for preparing SCADA related designs, specifications and configurations for FACTS products and solutions - SVC and STATCOM.
 

Key Individual Accountabilities:

·  Produce high quality documents and specifications
·  Plan, Specify, Organize and participate testing
·  Participate in technical negotiations with end customers and other stakeholders
·  Support equipment sourcing (technical inputs, equipment evaluation)
·  Support R&D and technical tendering
·  Participate in FACTS equipment commissioning (including non-SCADA related tasks)
Qualifications/Requirements

·  BSc/Msc degree in Automation/Electrical Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience
·  Knowledge in HMI design
·  Knowledge in substation communication protocols (eg. IEC61850, DNP3, IEC60870-5-104)
·  Knowledge in ethernet network configurations
·  Knowledge in cyber security
·  Fluent written and oral skills, both in English and Finnish
·  Ability to travel
