Role Summary/Purpose

The Production Associate may have responsibilities including manufacturing, assembly, basic testing, training and packaging and shipping of products.
Essential Responsibilities

- Meet assembly time and quality requirements commensurate with daily output goals
- Follows work procedures and schematics including complex instructions regarding duties to be performed
- Takes direction well from lead personnel
- Work in close conjunction with others and communicates well within a team environment to complete a quality product
- Performs manufacturing/assembly operations and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions and process aid sheets
- Ability to use basic shop hand tools, measuring equipment and hand power tools
- Ability to stand in one location for duration of shift or work assignment, with shifts lasting up to 10 hours
- Perform disassembly as required when product is non-conforming
- Aware of and comply with all EHS and Quality policies and procedures
- Responsible for insuring all documentation (drawing, methods & procedures) are complete and at the workstation
- Must support and participate in all team activities
- Maintain partnerships in job function and with assembly, materials, and test teams across the manufacturing operations and across all shifts
- Ability to build rapport within the immediate team and with the broader organization
- May train other team members when required
- Other duties as assigned and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions and employee activity teams

Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Knowledge and understanding of production process, work instructions, documentation configuration control, non-conforming & rework documentation requirements and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to it’s specification.
5. Aware of and comply with Stop Order, Concessions, ESD, Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Material Identification & Segregation, and Good Documentation Practices, as associated with this job type/position
Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent
• 3 or more years of related manufacturing experience
• Experience using basic hand tools such as, but not limited to drills, saws, screwdrivers and wrenches
• High degree of comfort using computers and software tools to include, but not limited to, Windows, Outlook & Microsoft Office Suite
• High degree of comfort using electronic manufacturing/production systems and tools such as eANDON, eDHR, Trello
• Ability to communicate, receive and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed
• Demonstrated ability to detail and quality-minded work habits
• Team player who is accountable for team's success delivering business targets and takes responsibility for decisions and outcomes
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to give and receive feedback in a healthy and constructive way
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work overtime if needed
• Willingness to change work schedules or shifts as needed and defined by the business need
• Willingness to stand in one location for duration of shift or work assignment, with shifts/work assignments lasting up to 10 hours
Desired Characteristics

Preferred Qualifications:
• Associates degree or local equivalent
• 5 or more years of related manufacturing experience
• Previous experience in GMP work environment
• Willingness to learn new skills and perform a variety of tasks and roles within the manufacturing process and teach and coach others
• Willingness to travel domestically if needed
