Role Summary/Purpose

Working within the Third Party team you will cover all piece parts that are sent into the business from more than 60 external customers. Parts are routed through different areas of the business – shared processing shops, Component Repair, Accessory Repair and at specialist subcontracts where they are repaired and returned to customers in a serviceable condition.
Essential Responsibilities

The position will involve a mixture of office based scheduling/status updates as well as shop floor expediting and representation of the Third Party team:- 

·  Set the schedule for Third Party parts and work with key business areas to set priorities for the processing of parts and establish forecast delivery dates for customers 
·  Proactively investigate process issues and work with Engineering, Sourcing or relevant teams to resolve them 
·  Support other elements of production as required with the aim of delivering parts back to the customer on time

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Previous experience of scheduling / expediting within a manufacturing environment 
·  Outwardly confident with excellent communication and influence skills 
·  Experience of interrogating ERP systems, preferably SAP 
·  Proficient user of Excel/email 
·  Demonstrated history of driving Continuous improvement

·  Experience of working in a Matrix organisation 
·  Previous experience of using SAP
