Role Summary/Purpose
The Medical Advisor role acts as a key partner to medical value through acting as the medical expert for key pharmaceutical products in Japan and also working with international medical affairs team.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Key role in presenting business cases and key clinical evidence to regional and national meetings of key referral groups
2. Preparation and delivery of training on new industry campaigns and clinical evidence
3. Key contact point for relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, especially in the Nuclear Medicine, Neurology, Radiology, Cardiology and Gastroenterology or General surgery specialities.
4. Involvement in the assessment and monitoring of investigator initiated trials
5. Planning strategic medical plan and publication plan of allocated products and therapeutic area.
Qualifications/Requirements
Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Knowledge and understanding of GEHC Design Controls Procedures and operates within them in managing programs that control the design of the device in order to ensure that specified design requirements are met (adjust for band level of role)
5. Complete PV/PMS Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Qualifications:
1. Medically or pharmaceutically qualified and registered, such as M.D., Pharmacist, or Ph.D in pharmacy, agriculture, and other science.
2. Approximately 2 years experience in a medical affairs or R&D in industry with experience of approving promotional materials in accordance with the appropriate regulations
3. Good collaboration skill with R&D department and commercial team.
4. Excellent presentation skills.
5. Well trainined in compliance and Japanese code of practice.

1. Excellent oral and written bilingual (Japanese and English) communication skills
2. Self-motivated with a proven ability of working to deadlines
3. Ability to work effectively in cross functional and cross border teams
4. Experience in any of Radiology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology Nuclear Medicine or Neurology preferred.
