Role Summary/Purpose

The purpose of the Materials Process Excellence Leader role is to focus on material planning process excellence, improve on time delivery and inventory metrics, and drive value stream collaboration between functional groups. In the role of Materials Process Excellence Leader, you will utilize Lean, Six Sigma, Digital Solutions, and Change Acceleration Process to drive continuous improvement and simplification, identify root cause corrective action, and facilitate organizational change.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Drive standardized capacity planning capability at sites and incorporation into S;OP

·  Gain expertise in utilizing Oracle ERP data to identify process defects

·  Lead special projects across functional groups to implement Root Cause Corrective Actions

·  Drive continuous improvements / enhancements to the overall process

·  Lead operational rhythms

·  Be involved in developing requirements, testing, and executing digital tools to support efforts

·  Identify, lead and influence projects focused on improved delivery and inventory reduction as well as Materials productivity and simplification of internal processes

·  Learn, provide leadership and facilitation on process innovation tools and data driven methodologies (Agile, Lean / Six Sigma, Digital Analytics, CAP)

·  Lead targeted Workouts to improve business processes and deliver measurable business impact

·  Develop communication plans and proactively communicate priorities, progress, status and issues to relevant champions in a clear and succinct way

·  Set & drive the culture shift to ensure there is sustainable behavioral change

·  Establish operating rhythms to measure and sustain gains

·  Work cross-functionally and cross-division to leverage best practices for standardization one source of truth that maximizes desired outcomes for the business and our customers
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

·  Minimum of 3 years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution

·  Prior experience within a manufacturing environment
Desired Characteristics

·  Demonstrated experience in Process Excellence, Lean and Continuous Improvement

·  Proven change management experience driving large organizational change

·  Proven leadership and influencing skills in a matrix organization

·  Prior experience in a Materials Function, Material Systems and / or ERP Software

·  Robust data analysis / manipulation skills and tool usage with ability to make data driven decisions through analytical insights

·  Proven time management and organizational skills, demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform in a time-pressured environment

·  Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

·  Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills

·  Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred

·  Experience in implementation of digital tools and project management
