Role Summary/Purpose

The Compressor Material Requirements Planner is responsible for the forecasting, material allocation and inventory management of gas turbine compressor parts to support fulfilment of global customer spare parts orders.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Responsible for forecasting, material allocation and inventory management of gas turbine compressor parts.

·  Consolidate global demand and align to internal and external capacities/capabilities in coordination with Strategic Sourcing teams to optimise delivery, cost and quality.

·  Prioritize / allocate material to global customer demand.

·  Provide inputs on material availability to support tendering and deal execution.

·  Maximize on-time delivery and material availability while managing dynamic inventory.

·  Processing ITO workflows (OSIP tasks).

·  Be responsive to global sales opportunities and customer issues.

·  Work closely with Commercial, Fulfilment, Engineering, Buyers, Warehouse, and Supply Chain to optimize material availability.

·  Achieve inventory levels aligned with the Operating Plan.

·  Provide analysis on slow moving inventory and work with inventory team to reduce SMI.

·  Provide detailed data analysis while summarizing and effectively communicating across all organizations.

·  Prepare metrics and report results to leadership.

·  Processing SAP MRP list and exception messages.

·  Maintain Material Master data (SAP).

·  Develop and implement storage management strategy in cooperation with Sourcing Buyers to achieve optimum lot sizes and availabilities.

·  Manage phase-in/phase-out of materials.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering, Business management, Supply Chain Management, Operations or equivalent knowledge or work experience

·  Significant experience in supply chain or operations experience

·  Strong experience in areas of procurement/sourcing

·  Ability to work in a cross functional, global, and multi-tasked environment

·  Proven project management skills with the ability to work across functional boundaries and all levels of management

·  Strong organization, planning, and leadership skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

·  Strong Microsoft Excel experience

·  Excellent communication level of spoken and written English

·  Proven experience in SAP Materials Management (MRP)

·  Technical or functional experience with gas/steam turbine products and manufacturing processes required

·  Strong planning skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure

·  Performance-oriented, systematic and analytical approach to work

·  Strong quantitative, analytical and problem resolution skills

·  Result-oriented, with a strong ability to achieve objectives

·  Independent, takes initiative

·  Flexible, highly perceptive, good learning ability

·  Relevant experience in the Energy Industry including good general knowledge of the power plant market

·  Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary.
