Role Summary/Purpose

The GECAS Marketing and Corporate Communications intern will work closely with the VP of Marketing. The intern will assist in updating the GECAS exposure guidelines, as well as, helping in creating internal GECAS year-end report. This 8-12 week internship will take place during the summer (2020).
Essential Responsibilities

Specifically the intern will assist the team with the following:

Exposure guidelines 

·  Conform Aviation industry data to ensure consistency and reportability 
·  Populate missing pricing fields in industry data 
·  Update translation table of airlines names (GECAS to Industry naming convention)  
·  VLOOKUP and link airlines names in industry data to airlines names in GECAS data 

P&L Reporting 

·  Assist in the creation of GECAS Profit and Loss pitch pages 
·  Cross Sell and Win Rate analysis
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Must be a rising senior at an accredited college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA 
·  Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Economics, Marketing, Business, Finance
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with a particular focus on Excel knowledge 
·  Basic knowledge of finance and accounting theory 
·  Proven record of strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities 
·  Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
·  Ability to learn fast and achieve results 
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
·  Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
