Role Summary/Purpose

The Manufacturing Intern provides support to the Operations team; as a part of a service department the inter will be involved on estimate, define, record and improve the process or procedures needed to manufacture the parts or assemblies according to the Engineering specifications and shop floor capabilities.
Essential Responsibilities

• Support on the estimation of manufacturing cycle times for new orders and product routings creation.
• Data gathering on stablished processes to look for opportunity’s areas.
• Follow up on improvement actions.
• Responsible of record the procedures assigned according with Operations team needs
Qualifications/Requirements

• Undergraduate (Bachelor's degree) 5th to 7th Semester of any Engineering bachelor’s degree, preferable Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial or System programming.
• Fluid English
• Knowledge in CAD/CAM software (NX, Proe, Solidworks, Esprit, etc.)
• Knowledge in statistics analysis
• Initiative/ Proactivity
• Strong analytical, organization and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker: Proven problem solving skills.
• Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges.
• Effective communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills.
