Role Summary/Purpose

The Manufacturing Engineer (m/f) will provide technical leadership for the production team. Responsibilities include providing documentation and floor support associated with safety, manufacturing and quality methods, tooling, and equipment. In this role you will initiate and implement new processes and methods that will improve safety and quality, reduce process lead time and cost.
Essential Responsibilities

The role reports directly to the senior manufacturing technical leader in Eysins (VD). Learn more about ourCell & Gene Therapy products and solutions : 

Your key responsibilities are as follows:
·  Lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals
·  Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production
·  Work with Production Associates to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design
·  Participate in new product introductions through process layout, tool development, and new equipment
·  Control and update of all Manufacturing Documentation, includes both Product and Process Documentation,including
·  Change Management Coordinator and contributor to Change Board meetings. Tracking of changes, associated actions and implementation timing
·  NPR and NPI process, support of the NPI process, supporting the production validation process
·  Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation
Qualifications/Requirements

Your profile:
·  B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related technical degree, and proven experience in production, engineering, or High School diploma with profound experience in production, engineering 
·  professional experience in an manufacturing/engineering role in a strongly regulated industrial environment
·  Good team worker in international teams 
·  Proven planning & project management skills 
·  Good analytical (root cause analysis) skills & continuous improvement mindset. 
·  Good written and verbal English and at least conversational French skills
Desired Characteristics

Highly desired but no must have criteria and also trainable "on-the-job" are:
·  Experience in the Medical Devices manufacturing industry
·  Proven Lean & Six sigma experience
