Essential Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and leading a team of software engineers designing, programming, testing and releasing new software components. Technically guide the team to make the right choice and deliver quality. Responsible for people management of a team of software and test engineers. Manage multiple projects. Drive software releases on time and ensure quality, customer acceptance and process execution. Work closely with the cross-functional team: product management, service, sourcing and so on and other engineering team in the US and in Germany. Ensure customer success and manage customer escalations.
Qualifications/Requirements
The primary requirements are a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, or “STEM” Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any) and Math], and 8 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, or “STEM” Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any) and Math], and 5 years of experience in related occupation is acceptable. The position also requires: 5 years experience with .NET, C#, WPF, WCF, EF, LINQ, or WinForms; 2 years experience with Centricity Cardio Workflow; 1 year experience in leading teams of software engineers; and 1 year experience driving software releases for a medical software using SDLC.
