Role Summary/Purpose

The Radiation Safety Officer responsible for the administration of the GE
Inspection Technologies’ Radiation Safety Program as required by Federal,
State, and Local Regulations at the Pasadena TX facility and other locations to
the extent they fall under Pasadena’s scope of responsibility. His/her duties include but are not limited to
the following:

Essential Responsibilities

In the role of Lead Site Quality Engineer, you will:

·  Ensure that the quality system, is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with standards such as, ISO 9001:2015

·  Be responsible for the establishment and measurement of customer facing metrics … Big Y’s (availability and reliability), escaping defects, CoQ, TRS, NPS/Customer Experience, and the local implementation of the QMS

·  Lead a regular operating rhythm around customer facing metrics including trend analysis and improvement plans for GSC Field Services, In House Service, and Engineering Services

·  Manage site calibration activities Manage site calibration activities

·  Work closely with In-House Repair leader procatively identifying potential quality improvements for RMA’s

·  Support and drive RCA. Lead customer facing issue resolution

·  Work with Pasadena operations leader and team to create a roadmap of continuous improvement projects and track the implementation and the effect of the customer facing metrics

·  Lead a proactive and predictive measurement system that enables the service team to drive increased customer satisfaction

·  Lead the CoQ reduction together with GSC, In House Service, and Engineering Services

·  Communicate teams’ progress to Business Leaders

·  Educate, coach, and mentor team on quality strategy, quality assurance and planning philosophy and application

·  Partner with a team of quality professionals across the sites

·  Implementation
of the GEIT Global Radiation Safety Program at Pasadena, TX facility
·  Development and implementation of local radiation safety policies and procedures
·  Administration of the local Radiation Safety Training Program
·  Interfacing with local regulatory agencies and serving as the RSO of record with the TX Dept of Health
·  Ensure applicable licenses, registrations and permits are properly maintained
·  Administering the facility radiation dosimetry and radiation instrumentation program
·  Establishing and maintaining an Internal Inspection (Audit) System
·  Assuming control and instituting corrective action in emergency situations
·  Investigating causes of incidents and determining necessary preventive action
·  Be knowledgeable of and ensure compliance of applicable regulations and registration conditions
·  Manage key program metrics in BHGE Gensuite application software
·  Prepare radiation generating equipment sales and rental reports to support regulatory compliance
·  Conduct and/or arrange for employee and contractor training
·  Effectively liaison with the Pasadena Leadership Team and the GEIT Global RSO

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree in STEM from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in Quality Control in Oil & Gas)
·  Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control.
