Role Summary/Purpose

The Lead Product Manager – Cell Therapy Services will provide multi-functional leadership, strategic direction and life cycle management for Cell Therapy products within the Life Sciences Global Services Organization.

Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

·  Manages Cell Therapy Services products over their life cycle within a product portfolio that maximizes the overall return/profit to the company, within the context of company, business area and marketing plans.; ensures compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and commercial change process.

·  Leads the commercial input to the product development process once the product definition is approved; provides Design for Services vision for the new product introduction process and drives implementation with R&D and Global Service Engineering; and identifies target market(s) for product models & offerings and works with the Enterprise Solutions organization on the right support models for complex Cell Therapy projects.

·  Constantly monitors Cell Therapy industry trends and customer behavior to make sure that the Service products are contemporary and responds to customer needs.

·  Drives digital innovation and works with the team on automation life cycle plans.

·  Manages all aspects of the product(s) life cycle starting with the detailed planning phase (in development) until the product is terminated; defines product support models and structures.

·  Provides strategic and tactical supply management of existing products to market for multiple customers and applications.

·  Aware of and complies with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

·  Completes all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

·  Identifies and reports any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

·  Establishes a commitment to quality and communicate the importance of meeting statutory, regulatory and customer requirements; ensures quality policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization; establishes and communicates quality objectives that are measurable and consistent with the quality policy.

·  Maintains adequate organizational structures and adequate resources of sufficiently trained personnel; ensures qualified personnel relative to assigned responsibilities; ensures appropriate responsibility, independence and authority of all personnel who manage, perform and assess work affecting quality.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science, Business Administration or related field

·  3+ years’ experience in product marketing, product development, or related field

·  Excellent oral and written communications skills

·  Strong analytical and process skills

·  Strong project management skills

·  Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment

Desired Characteristics

·  MSc or Master’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science, Business Administration or related field

·  5+ years’ experience in product marketing, product development or related field, preferably in Services

·  Product Management/Marketing expertise, including: market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management,

·  Healthcare and/or Service product/industry/technical acumen

·  Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams

·  Proven ability to work globally
