Essential Responsibilities

Reinvent MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging), lay the foundation for next generation of scanners based on the latest technologies. Work with Agile development principles and continuous customer engagement. Understand MR clinical needs and translate those to viable product features and requirements. Responsibility across the full development lifecycle of requirements, design, implementation and testing. Design and create simple solutions to complex problems. Research new tools and technologies to keep software on the cutting edge. Collaborate within and between teams. Advance the state of the art in areas including User Interface and Modern user workflow; DICOM image creation and management; State machine design for controlling the scanner; and Patient and prescription data management. Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives. Comply with the Quality Management Policy. Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements for medical devices in all design outputs and program deliverables.
Qualifications/Requirements

The primary requirements are a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or STEM major [Science, Technology, Engineering( any), or Math] and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or STEM major [Science, Technology, Engineering( any), or Math] and 3 years of experience in related occupation is acceptable. The position also requires 3 years experience with object oriented design and programming; 3 years experience with unit testing and continuous integration; 3 years experience with version control or configuration management and software build; 3 years experience in design and development of software architecture using established design patterns; 3 years experience communicating and collaborating in a team environment; 3 years experience applying Agile development principles; and 3 years experience with Software development lifecycle in product delivery and maintenance.
