Internship / Working Student (m/w) Software Test Engineering - Automation - GE Healthcare - München
Essential Responsibilities

Automated software tests are an important measure to guarantee the quality of medical products. Here at GE Healthcare you will be ensuring the continuous testing of our software and further development of our library of automated tests. By using SQUISH, the GUI test automation tool adopted at our site, you will be in charge of developing new tests procedures to confirm the quality of newly implemented features as well as the flawless integration with the existing modules. Moreover, you will have to manage the existing test collections and update these as required by changes in our software. You will work closely with our developer team in order to clearly convey information about issues found or to obtain additional information that ensures thorough testing. Throughout this process you will achieve a comprehensive understanding of design and implementation of solid test automation. You will get to use your existing programming skills in a new context while considering the high quality exigencies required by a medical product.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  You are a student in medical engineering, computer science or a similar technical degree with above-average results.

·  You possess sound practical knowledge of Python and object oriented programming.

·  You are persuasive through technical understanding and very good communication skills.

·  You are quality-conscious and a proactive team player.

·  You have a solid background in working with Windows OS.

·  Knowledge about verification processes are a plus.

·  English proficiency is required.
