Role Summary/Purpose
This internship offers a broaden insight view in the project excellence of global player in the energy sector.
Working with the GIST Project Excellence team, located in Baden, Switzerland, you will support harmonization of process, tools and data management. We are looking for 60% intern capacity for a period of 6-8 months.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop necessary IT solutions (using Excel and SAP Business Objects) to minimize administrative tasks in the reporting process
Support in establishing high level supplier data quality in relevant databases
Develop necessary solutions to maintain quality of the supplier data
Work on establishing necessary Sourcing KPI
Ensure we stabilize schedule reporting quality across the portfolio: Review reporting and expedite closure of identified gaps; train schedulers on the appropriate use of the reporting deck and share best practices
Provide necessary support to OTR regions on timely completion of monthly project reporting
Support in completing monthly project portfolio dashboards
Develop automated reporting solutions for recurrent manual activities
Desired profile
Qualifications/Requirements
Working towards completion of a Bachelor Degree, preferably business administration, economics, informatics, finance or energy industry related (only undergraduates can be considered for internships)
Understanding of statistics
Proficient in use of MS Office with deeper knowledge and proficiency in working in advanced Excel (incl. using Visual Basic to create/modify macros)
Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for details
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
