Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

This role will be a key support in the HR University Relations (UR) team, focusing on branding and recruitment initiatives for Malaysia, but may extend to other countries in the ASEAN region in which there is a need to build quality talent pipeline for GE.

• Drive key responsibilities and initiatives of UR team in Malaysia
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of activities
• Promote GE as a employer of choice at universities
• Coordinate office or site campus visits with external schools and tertiary education bodies
• Innovate and think of new strategies to implement to bring higher ROI on UR events
• Identify and drive opportunities for systems simplification and digitization
• Support HR Engagement Initiatives across employee populations
• Identify and drive opportunities for systems simplification and digitization
• Partner with Teaming Champions to coordinate site wide communication initiatives
• Support and lead internship engagement efforts across the site
• Coordinate on site campus visits with external schools and tertiary education bodies
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Business/HR/Psychology/Marketing/PR/Communications.
• GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 overall
• Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative
• Hunger to win, accountable, learner, authentic, giver, agile, judgment, connector.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
• Passionate in Human Resources
• Must be able to converse in local language.
• Valid work authorization. (No work permits will be given for this role)
