Role Summary/Purpose

The Intern/Co-op works jointly with the Product, Quality and Manufacturing Engineers; leverages the long-term technology strategies to solve near term manufacturing, EHS, quality and capacity issues in the Plant.

Essential Responsibilities

·  Manage improvements on performance of related process applying Six Sigma Tools & LEAN
·  Work in a manufacturing environment to implement process controls in alignment with the GE Management System
·  Implement appropriate tools to effectively meet established work plan and goals
·  Establish and maintain continuous communication with leaders to identify and solve technical issues that affect production output
·  Lead to improve service and quality of our products
·  Prepare daily reports on production/materials to inform to assignment leader the progress of the assignment
·  Successful on the completion of assignment project task
·  Actively implement actions related to EHS, Lean, Service, Inventory and Quality
·  Follow and actively participates in all the EHS practices, procedures and requirement
·  Perform other related duties as requested by the management
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Strong academic performance (3.0/4.0 GPA and above)
