Role Summary/Purpose

Do you want to be the global process owner for molding production processes and to be responsible for developing and implementing process control systems and technical documentation?
Essential Responsibilities

Our Global Production Engineering & Implementation team is looking for engineers to serve as Postmolding or Molding Process Engineers. As a global Process Engineer you will be leader and process owner of the process-specific elements of our Core Manufacturing System.

As Global Process engineer you will work out of one of our LM Wind Power plant in Ponferrada (SPAIN) or Bergama (TURKEY)

Work with cross functional teams to develop our next generation of operational processes:

Your responsibilities will be within the following areas: 

·  Developing and implementing process control systems to secure capability and high performance of our processes 
·  Provide technical support to factories on their daily production 
·  Provide and maintain guides, work instructions and other technical documentation
·  Interact with global functions for developments and updating information, solving technical issues 
·  Execute routine tasks related to ECR, QCR and process documentation

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Our ideal candidate has a background as Bachelor in engineering. You relevant hands-on experience in blade manufacturing. You have some experience in an LM engineering team (local or global) so that you have a thorough knowledge of our blade manufacturing process.

Furthermore, you have demonstrated an ability to produce results through process optimization and improvements. Preferably you have a Lean Six Sigma Green belt certification

If contracted in Spain:

Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.

We expect that you are self-driven and able to complete tasks independently, and a good team player. Finally, you have good communication skills in written and spoken English. You are flexible and able to travel 25-40%.
