Role Summary/Purpose

This individual works on projects related to a particular function depending on their prior coursework and degree program.
Essential Responsibilities

·  General Ledger activities including manual entry processing

·  Responsible for accounting reconciliation of selected accounts (understanding the expected balance, and investigate variances)

·  Connect with other business teams to understand and follow up variances

·  Take part in the monthly/quarterly/year-end closing process

·  Support the coordination of ongoing productivity projects

·  Support quarterly accounting planning cycles, reporting reconciliation KPIs

·  Run ad-hoc or regular reports form reporting platforms

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar BA/MA

·  Availability for at least 24 hours/week

·  Knowledge on finance and accounting subjects as part of your studies

·  Written and verbal fluency in English

·  Proficiency in Excel

·  Flexible approach and self-motivated with strong team spirit

·  Good eye for process improvement opportunities, appetite for initiation

·  Results orientated and ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines

·  Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary.
