Role Summary/Purpose

As an Apprentice Field Engineer you are the key point of contact for our customer. The Apprentice Field Engineer will be responsible for meeting the daily service repair needs of the customer’s equipment and driving customer satisfaction through Service Excellence.
Essential Responsibilities

·  All on site life extensions, repairs and inspection-related service
activities for installed fleets and supervision for construction and commissioning of new and
existing equipment, able to be performed at customer site. Includes onsite machining, NDT,
blading, winding, critical welding, generator diagnostics. Able to make Engineering decisions.

·  Drive business results and manages customer relationships within area of responsibility.

·  Own execution of operational processes.

·  Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and all GE
Healthcare organizations creating one GEHC for the customer and proactively identify
customer needs and develop and implement customer specific solutions.

·  Promote a safe working
environment and ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor degree in Engineering and strong service/technical support or equivalent knowledge or experience
experience

·  Proven experience leading a team, managing customer relationships, and/or
managing a P&L or comparable business unit

·  Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities
and approaches to meet objectives and exceptional interpersonal skills

·  Must have a valid driver license

If contracted in Spain:

Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.

experience

·  Strong business acumen

·  Proven ability to influence
and drive change through exceptional written and verbal communication skills and able to
effectively communicate across a distributed workforce

·  Ability to resolve complex issues within functional area and area of expertise and to develop
and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
