Role Summary/Purpose
The MS Service Coordinator role is a key role at the heart of the MS team and will work closely with the MS Field Service Manager, Field Service Engineers, the Sales Team and Customers.
This permanent role is based in GE Sensing EMEA, Shannon or at the Labège site in France.
Essential Responsibilities
• A key element of the role is to be customer facing and responsibilities will include receiving the initial customer contact enquiries, managing engineering schedules, initiation of Field Purchase Orders, Invoicing and ownership of Aged Debt. In addition, the role will require internal liaison with other internal functions which include other GE Service departments, Customer Care and Finance.
• Customer Enquiries - Owner of the initial Customer contact via email and telephone communications.
• Scheduling - Plan, programme and schedule services activities in line with customer expectations with clear and professional communications throughout. Communicate to MS Service Engineers planned/emergent work schedule. Optimize capacity planning and minimize costs of Engineers.
• Timesheet/Cost - Track and confirm Engineer timesheets and ensure correct billing information has been entered.
• Field PO's - Book and track PO's for both Field work
• Reporting - Responsible for creation of weekly/monthly reports for review by the Service Manager.
• Invoicing - Raise and track Customer Invoices and priorities late/at-risk payments as they become due for payment.
• Manage Third Party Labor Suppliers – schedule Freelance, Partners or Resources from other regions and ensure payment is completed.
• Aged Debt - Compile and manage all MS aged debt Contact Suppliers and customers to ensure payment terms are met by due date and provide support for disputes timely resolution

Qualifications/Requirements
• Proven experience in working in a Customer focused environment
• Experience with ORACLE and SAP
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentations
• Inter-personal skills to co-ordinate with personnel, clients, client representatives and competent bodies on matters of Technical and Operational Support.
• Demonstrate proven organizational skills
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvement across the services and applications business
• Computer literacy
• Excellent analytical and problem salving skills
• Team player, pleasant
• English fluency as a native speaker
Desired Characteristics
• Experience with ORACLE and SAP
• Working knowledge of systems, procedures and has experience of working with supporting functional departments both locally and globally across the business
