Role Summary/Purpose
The Commercial Field Service Engineer is responsible for service sales and field service activities that include performing and selling supporting service agreement and installations, commissioning and trouble-shooting of Measurement and Sensing (MS) instrument.
Essential Responsibilities
- Demonstrated EHS mindset and compliance.
- Deliver on commitments and communicate progress, needs, and strategies to win in a competitive landscape
- Ensure successful implementation of service strategies and generate service business model(supporting service agreement) based on customer requirements for proactive service selling
- Take a full lead on supporting service commercial agreement and technical discussions with clients, and presentations and preparation of proposal documents
- Identify and cultivate strategic relationships at all levels of customer organization
- Achieve business targets in key KPIs
- Work closely with clients and global technical and product teams to satisfy local clients’ requirements and expectations
- Manage well all level of key stakeholders and orchestrate them to achieve Service KPIs.
- Performing billable MS service roles including installations, commissioning, and validation, and trouble-shooting
- Assure the job is executed in a timely manner and in accordance with the customer's schedule and contractual commitments.
- Timely completion of standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements.
- Identify problems and take the initiative to eliminate those problems for success by making decisions based on business impact and technical data
- Provide customers with technical direction and/or project management
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and write in English.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Ability to work under stressful working conditions including.
-Minimum of 3 years of commercial sales activities(selling product/service to B2B customers)
-Minimum of 5 years of field service experience including installations, commissioning and trouble-shooting of measurement and sensing instrument. - Ability to find new sales opportunity and establish business relationship with customers
-Demonstrated ability to quickly build trust and develop influential relationships internally at all levels of an organization as well as externally in customer organization
- Proven leadership skills to lead people in a matrix organization
- English skills in both written communication and verbal communication.
- Problem solving skills and a high degree of creativity/resourcefulness.
Desired Characteristics
- Knowledge of BHGE MS products and service.
- Master degrees of technical and business are preferred.
