Role Summary/Purpose
In this role of Entry Electronics Technician you will be responsible for testing and repair of individual variable speed drives and downhole tool instrumentation to maintain systems integrity.
Essential Responsibilities
In the role of Entry Electronics Technician, you will:
· Build and repair test trailers; make sure all DOT requirements and registration is current to
comply with regulatory requirements
· Test and repair individual variable speed drives, downhole tool instrumentation and
switchboards to maintain system integrity
· Maintain Shop and test equipment Keep all OSHA and other environmental records up to date
to assure compliance with regulatory requirements
· Comply with all EHS requirements
· Shipping & receiving of ESP surface equipment
Qualifications/Requirements
· High school diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
· Minimum 6 months of experience in manufacturing, assembly, and/or oil field services
Eligibility Requirements:
· Work with high voltage (480V)
· Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
· Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
· Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
· Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
· Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
Desired Characteristics
· Basic electrical knowledge – circuits, meters, troubleshooting, wiring diagrams, etc.
· Forklift Experience
