Role Summary/Purpose

A Product Service Plant and Accessory Systems engineer is responsible for providing technical support for our global Gas Power customers for gas power plant and accessory systems issues in the field. In this role you will be responsible for providing technical resolution and managing complex accessories and plant related investigations.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Engineer - Fleet Management you will:

·  Develop technical expertise across wide breadth of global accessory systems and plant equipment  
·  Provide thorough resolution of Engineering Requests (ER) with a sense of urgency  
·  Lead complex Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and communicate root cause and corrective action both internally to field teams and GE leadership and externally to end customers 
·  Identify trending issues and provide countermeasures to protect our customers’ fleet  
·  Collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Management, Regional Customer Engineering Centers, Manufacturing, and Sourcing to provide sound technical resolution in a timely manner  
·  Develop internal and external communications (TILS, ETC, customer presentations, etc.) to provide guidance on major issue resolution  
·  Lead and promote a culture of GE Beliefs, Lean principles and Simplification into day-to-day activities

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.

·  Edison Engineer; Completion of FoL, ENGAGE, Teardown Training; Progress toward completion of Engineering Masters degree and/or ACE Certificate (This role will accommodate progress toward completion of Engineering Masters degree and/or C-Course project; Limited travel/overtime required; One hour a week per credit hour (maximum 6 hrs per week) can be vouchered)
