Role Summary/Purpose

Ensure that IT services are delivered and are functional at the local destination. All IT services delivered to the local destination should be compliant with the corporate IT strategy and the corporate IT security policies. To maintain the IT infrastructure, computers and network in the plant, to support corporate approved software used in the plant and to contact and claim against IT suppliers. To support implement IT projects local, regional and global.

Essential Responsibilities

As the End User Support Engineer, you will:

·  Support the Global IT in implementing and supporting processes and systems in order to ensure handover of solutions from global IT to regional IT
·  Put corporate strategies and policies into practice
·  Participate in projects sharing best practices and earlier experiences
·  Install and sustain: Computers, Mobile phones, Tablet (and other IT Equipment used at plant), Local IT infrastructure components (i.e. switches, AP, etc.)
·  Responsible for contacts and claims against local IT suppliers
·  Ensure the local organization has the appropriate IT and communications infrastructure available for its requirements and that it is compliant with global guidelines
·  Plan corrective and preventative maintenance of equipment's located locally
·  Offer support and guidance to users of the IT system
·  Ensure that the business does follow the IT Security Policies
·  Escalate issues to other support functions and keep end users informed on the progress of their problem
·  Enter all issues correctly into Snow system and document all work
·  Ensure highest possible at level resolution ratio
·  Ensure high level of customer satisfaction
·  Maximize service availability and reduce response time
·  Enable continuous knowledge sharing among virtual team members in across globe
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Information Technology or closely related field
·  Minimum of 3 years of experience as IT Onsite Supporter in a multi-cultural environment

·  Working knowledge: Of computer maintenance, IT security, Backup systems, IT audits, Microsoft office suite application and support
·  Broad expertise in IT systems and application support
·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Strong verbal and written communication skills
·  Customer focus, work ethic and attention to details
·  This is a safety sensitive position in a heavy manufacturing environment
·  Outgoing, socially confident, structured and adaptable
