Role Summary/Purpose

The Digital Solution Engineer will be able to provide product and application design recommendations to customers based on application analysis and design expertise. Deliver Lighting, Control and Digital design projects to customers.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Responsible to design projects that require lighting, electric loads and HVAC controls, monitoring and digital applications
·  Define the best lighting control strategy for each project
·  Be knowledgeable and able to apply IESNA, NOM and relevant industry and segment guidelines, standards and regulatory trends and be able to translate these to the commercial team
·  Work with final customer to translate needs into technical solutions that fully meet the requirements
·  Visit sites to get required information for design
·  Follow-up on large projects providing the necessary support to project managers and commercial teams, including co-ordination with external partners where necessary
·  Generates required lighting and control layouts
·  Manage lighting and control/digital projects in design stage
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Degree in Engineering from an accredited university
·  At least three years of experience in Lighting Design and Lighting Control
·  Commercial experience
·  Requires technical experience and aptitude to understand and respond to customer needs
·  Ability to work with cross-function teams and clearly communicates with sales team, end users and distributors
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, lighting software as Dialux or AGI32
·  Excellent process and organizational skills, attention to details
·  Proficiency in English and Spanish
Desired Characteristics

·  Experience in a customer-facing role
·  Experience in IoT or related industry
·  Knowledge of Lighting Solutions and Control products, channels, customers, terms of sale, guidelines, and general lighting industry standards
·  Proficient in AGI32 and Salesforce.com
·  Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external customer
·  This position will be based in Mexico City
