Job Description Summary
Design of capacitor stack rack equipment solutions to satisfy customer specific applications. Designs to comply with IEEE and/or IEC standards as well as customer specifications. Solutions may include integration with switches, reactors, arresters, PTs, and CTs.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Review customer specifications and create proposed solutions including cost estimates and proposal drawings.
- Interact with the customer and marketing to resolve questions and issues related to generating a proposed solution.
- Process requisitions, create drawings, and bill of materials for manufacturing.
- Submit final drawings and instruction books to the customer.
- Work with production control to co-ordinate order priority, new and/or special items, and identify long lead items.
- Work with the manufacturing to resolve manufacturing, quality, and process issues.
- Participate on business productivity teams.
- Work with marketing and quality teams on customer issue resolution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or High School Diploma/GED with at least 3 years of related experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
Desired Characteristics:
- Proficiency with Solid Modeling software
- Background in Power Systems Engineering and/or substation design.
- Proficiency with Autodesk suite, focus on AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Good electrical aptitude.
