Role Summary/Purpose

LM Wind Power is looking for a controller for Denmark and the Netherlands. The Controller is responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis for the Danish and Dutch legal entities of LM Wind Power.
Essential Responsibilities

You will be part of the in the LM Controllership team and right hand to the European Controller and the local point of contact for the LM HQ Finance team.

Your responsibilities in the job will be:

• Preparation and analysis of accurate financial statements and disclosures based on actual results
• Key member to support the commercial and operational organization to drive optimal business structures
• Support supply chain finance and FP&A with reporting and analysis as requested
• Collaboration with the GE Renewable accounting teams based in Budapest for day to day bookkeeping.
• Participate in the monthly / quarterly close process including account reconciliations, account reconciliation audit, GE Corporate Data Request (DR) submissions, representation letters and accounting entries
• Maintain and enforce the control framework, including deploying LM controllership policies and SOx controls. Ensure the local adaption of such controls.
• Monitor & implement simplification initiatives and integration projects. Support IT teams in any financial system project. Apply Controllership input and ensure appropriate rigor for such projects.
• Collaboration with the GE Renewable statutory and tax teams to produce all statutory, tax and statistical filings.
• Management of the statutory audit of the Danish and Dutch legal entities, as well as the stat-to-US GAAP yearly reconciliations.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business
• Significant finance experience, and strong knowledge of Danish GAP
• Strong analytical, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
• Fluency in English and Danish
• Strong influencing skills and ability to drive project execution at different levels of the organization
