Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for providing sourcing & analytics support to the Legal Shared Services Category.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Ownership of the day-to-day execution of most complex commodity processes
·  May lead projects and / or small contract negotiations/key projects, engaging with key stakeholders in defining/understanding requirements through to implementation
·  Support, maintain, and update key sourcing tools, processes and systems
·  Follow and document promptly all process related changes in the Standard Operating Procedures.
·  Ensure all process standards are properly documented in the Standard Operating Procedure and drive program compliance to the SOPs.
·  Meet or exceed all SLA’s with the utmost integrity and in compliance to SOPs and GE policies
·  Handle customers’ escalations, and provide them with the necessary support

Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree OR high school diploma with 4 years’ experience in Sourcing / Procurement, Supply Chain or Analytics role
·  Minimum 2 year of experience in Sourcing / Procurement, Supply Chain or Analytics role
Desired Characteristics

·  Previous experience in a shared service center, procurement or operations experience  
·  Proven analytical skills
Lean Six Sigma certified
Demonstrated team player with a strong initiative to win 
·  Demonstrated professional oral/written communication and negotiation skills 
·  Proven project management skills 
·  Proven working knowledge of ERP/ SSP systems 
·  Experience with RFQ implementation and execution
History with supplier base consolidation
