Role Summary/Purpose

The Commercial Leadership Program (CLP) or newly branded ASPIRA Sales and Commercial Leadership Development track offers exceptional experiences to launch a career in sales, sales operations, deal enablement and marketing. Learn about our customers, our fullstream product and service capability, industry, while simultaneously making valuable contributions to the organization.
Essential Responsibilities

The Commercial Leadership Program (CLP) is an intensive 2-year entry-level development program requiring 3 rotational assignments in sales, commercial and /or marketing roles to accelerate the growth and development of exceptional talents. It prepares candidates for a successful career in sales or marketing by providing the opportunity to learn about our products, industry, and customers while making valuable contributions to the organization.

As a member of the Commercial Leadership Program you will develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some longterm business goals. CLP offers 3 eight -months rotational assignments in advanced sales training, business and leadership courses, mentoring and
career planning during two years.

In addition, you will:
• Leverage GE's "no boundaries" selling environment, the Program offers a framework where Members can harness their outstanding communication, leadership, and technical skills to develop and demonstrate an understanding of quality customer partnerships
• Reach beyond the simple selling of products and service
• Master the ability to provide wing-towing solutions and add value for both GE and its customers
• Perform assignments that will vary depending on business requirements and the off program role objectives
• Gain exposure to a number of GE Oil & Gas Technologies businesses, products, and leaders
• Participate in worldclass training in sales, leadership, and business skills
• Strengthen your commercial, business, and leadership skills by completing an intensive curriculum of classroom, handson, and online training.

This two-year program consists of three rotational assignments in several of sales and commercial roles combined with formal classroom training in customer outcome selling & negotiation, presentation skills, various professional etiquette & technical skills, marketing and communication, business and leadership development, and a cross-functional, mission-based project. Graduates of the program have the opportunity to develop into future Sale and Commercial leaders.
Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering , Mechanics, Economics, Business, or Marketing,
• GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 or equivalent,
• Geographically mobile (locations vary),
• Fluent in English (oral and written)

Desired Characteristics

• One to four years of professional work experience preferably including prior internships in sales or commercial operations,
• Demonstrated interest in sales, commercial, marketing in O&G,
• Demonstrates effective written and oral communication, integrity, critical thinking/analytical skills, agility/flexibility, a continuous learning mindset, a high “say-do” ratio (execute on your commitments), teamwork and collaboration, drive for results, and initiative.
