Role Summary/Purpose

The CCS remote tool & rule developer is responsible for developing and maintaining remote service tools for CCS modality, primarily Ultrasound or Life Care Solutions), but not exclusively.
Essential Responsibilities

·  Design and release remote service tools & rule in accordance with established procedures leverage Fastworks and Agile design along with quality control ensuring validation and verification.  
·  Establish release cycles and plan accordingly.
·  Establish testing protocols and schedule and measure effectivity of tools and rules.
Lead and maintain op-mechs with regional subject matter experts, engineering and service ops teams, to define requirements for tools and rules ensure that you meet the needs of the consumer and always have customer experience in mind. 
·  Develop and deploy training material to support global roll out of tools and align with Global Services University to ensure compliance with expert level curriculum.
Leverage productivity and cost to serve tools to identify need and opportunity for more efficient remote tools, prioritize focus areas based on pateros of pain and impact to FCR performance and customer experience.
·  Collaborate with DST and Global Service teams to ensure tools fully integrate with current and future ecosystem of tools like FFA, Rule Studio & Datalake simplifying the work flows of remote and field engineers. 
·  Collaborate and learn from peers within the Imaging teams to ensure that we leverage best practice and simplify production of tools and rules where there is common opportunity to reuse or leverage existing code or tools. 
·  Work with product engineering to define the requirements for NPI’s that support more efficient remote service, define future need for data logging or sensor hooks, support with documentation to ensure external teams understand what data we use and ensure they are aligned regarding changes to data logging 
·  Develop business cases to support strategic planning sessions and initiatives. 
·  Host periodic town hall style collaboration events, create communities of experts dedicated to leveraging global best practice and improving remote service capabilities.
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years Healthcare Equipment engineering experience 
·  Experienced and trained in developing software algorithms using high level programming languages 
·  Demonstrated ability to handle/resolve complex technical issues and apply expert-level knowledge to applicable systems. 
·  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 
·  Ability to travel as required to customer sites.
Desired Characteristics

Location: May be open to other US locations and locations outside of the US.

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years background experience within Ultrasound engineering role or service role with a deep product knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to lead groups of cross functional teams, clear thinker with the ability to resolve complex technical issues and prioritize workload based on impact to the customer and business.
Excellent presentation skills, with ability to lead and influence multiple audiences.
Strong advocate for the customer and dedicated to improving customer experience.
Ability to work remotely and lead global teams in fast-paced cross-functional environments.
