Role Summary/Purpose

The role is to produce bespoke 2D section details in Auto CAD software and bespoke 3D models in Solidworks design software for use within specifications and maintain the standard detail library, carry out amendments to existing designs and organising all information in a clear and efficient manner.
Essential Responsibilities

·  To fully understand systems and technology specific to the business to accurately comment on appropriate design.

·  To accurately record independent workload and productivity for monthly KPI reports.

·  work in a dynamic, cross functional environment.

·  Review customer drawings to understand integration and prepare marked-up electrical drawings for customer approval

·  Support installation team with any questions or queries
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Mechanical or Electrical HNC/ HND /Degree

·  Experience of creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings (AutoCAD), & “Solidworks”, with a good working knowledge of engineering, manufacturing & project customer documentation.

·  Strong oral presentation and communication skills with both internal and external customers
