Role Summary/Purpose

The Tungsram NA organization has an exciting opportunity for someone with commercial and/or technical experience in the industry. The Associate Product Manager role requires an individual with demonstrated aptitude for product line ownership in a highly dynamic cross-functional environment. The Associate Product Manager position will be critical to help drive and achieve the sales and margin benefits across various product lines.
Essential Responsibilities

In addition, as the Associate Product Manager, you will:

·  Work cross-functionally to ensure product listings are complete, timely and accurate
·  Track product listing through all phases of development including:
·  product details
·  packaging graphics
·  technical specs
·  and marketing messages

·  Assist Product Manager with managing product lifecycle by working with Supply Chain team to identify inventory and other considerations prior to transitioning product to the next generation

·  Execute product line strategy and manage the existing product line up

·  Participate in new product introductions, cost out initiatives and process improvements to ensure product line leadership

·  Conducting analysis of competitive capabilities, strategies, and market share data

·  Analyze competitive landscape - Cost, Capacity, Products, Strategy

·  Take an active role in all Tungsram growth planning sessions

·  Work closely with the marketing team to develop and maintain key sales support material:
·  product specifications
·  product catalogs
·  brochures
·  competitive cross-references
·  technical application guides, etc.

·  Supporting the broader Consumer Product Management team across multiple product lines
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, industrial distribution or related discipline from an accredited university or college

·  Minimum 3 years of related Technology or Commercial experience
Desired Characteristics

·  MBA from an accredited university or college Preferred

·  Prior Product Management experience

·  SAP ERP experience

·  Strong abilities to work with cross-functional teams, ability to create consensus and drive execution

·  Ability to communicate across all functions and at all levels of both internal and external organizations

·  Excellent planning, problem solving, and analysis skills

·  In depth knowledge of the OEM, heavy duty, traditional and/or retail automotive parts industry

·  Consumer retail, commercial and industrial and/or automotive market experience
